Ancient China & India (SE.WH 3.01)

In class, we will be exploring some of the cool things we now have, thanks to China and India's history.  The standard we are starting with is:
SE.WH 3.01 "Analyzes the cultures of the Eastern Empires by examining their significant ideas, institutions, people, and events."
PROFICIENT = • Describes the beliefs, values, tradition, geography, events, and history of Eastern Empires (I.e., Greece, Roman, China, India, Japan, Korea, Mongol, Byzantine, through the 1400's) and how they are different from today's world. (Cites sources.)

Students may choose a project independently, with a partner, or in small groups.  The project will focus "deeper" into one of the countries identified above.
