As students begin to prepare to graduate and move on, each will prepare a "Senior Portfolio" that compiles documentation needed in the future, including a resume, personal essay, budget, etc. This can be done on paper (3-ring binder), a powerpoint, or web site (preferred). Having a digital copy (web site) allows for editing later, and updating as needed. Students who build a web site need to leave off any personal information (address, phone, etc.) and only leave an e-mail contact.
Instructions are below. It is a large project, and includes standards in Careers L4, PSS L4, Tech L4, and Communication Literacy (Writing) L6. Begin slow, by creating a "shell" of a web site, then add to it as needed. Students are welcome to use the powerpoint, and change the information for their own data.
