Thanks to a special guest speaker, Aretha Tyus, HTH students received training in research and application of different forms of abuse, who to report it, what to report, where to report. Ms. Tyus went over real case studies (no names, of course) of abuse occurring and ways to avoid becoming a victim, and where to go to get help, if you're in this situation. Students asked great questions. The follow-up is due whenever students are ready to send in their notes and reflection, addressing this health standard.patterns-of-abuse
