Students should log onto our moodle class site (Media Literacy). Tasks include:
- Edit profile
- Post on the forum (What do you hope to learn in this course?)
- Post on the forum (Hot Topic - Sept. 2... what media impacted you)
We will also be using some of the persuasion techniques used to create messages.
Lesson 1: Media, Sensory Awareness, Emotion
All work for this class will be done in 2-week or 3-week sections, to give students more choice on individual topics, including effective videos, flash, learning on-line application tools, and creating fun project.Standards addressed: Technology (all levels), Careers, and PSS. Language Arts may also be addressed, depending on individual projects and quality of work.
